Same Old Bears

Today was supposed to be about football, camaraderie, and perhaps a few laughs over beers. Instead, it turned into a day of personal humiliation for me and all Bears fans. If you've followed this blog for any length of time, you know I can only watch football wearing a cheerleading uniform. The game itself was a disaster. It's the same old Bears though this year was supposed to be different. More than just about any other fan, the cheerleading thing give me a real stake in the Bears doing well. This one was a bit different because we had the girls over so there were 4 girls plus Fiona watching with me and of course the girls loved watching me do cheers. Fortunately, both offenses sucked so I didn't have to cheer too often.

Bears 30, Raiders 12

It's been so humiliating this year having to dress like a Raiders cheerleader for Bears games this year, so excuse me for celebrating a little bit that the Bears laid an ass-whupping on Mia's Raiders. If the Bears had lost, I would have had to wear one of the most humiliating Halloween costumes that I can think of.  I'd like to tell Mia good game, but I can't.  Her Raiders really do suck so instead, allow me to say "Ha! Ha!"

The New Uniform

So Mia got her wish and with my Mom's money, I was able to buy a replica of an actual Las Vegas Raiders Raiderette uniform.  It's really embarrassing and it's making me wish for the costume I used to wear for football games as it was more of a high school cheerleader style and this is much sexier.  I also have no love for the Raiders and have to wear it for Bear games which doesn't make a lot of sense. Making things worse, wow did the Bears stink on Sunday.  I hope things improve or I might have to say no thanks, I'll pass on watching the Bears and dressing like a cheerleader.

Football Starts Today

I have been dying for the NFL to start, but in order to watch the Bears game today, I had to agree to shave my legs, let them do my nails and makeup for the day, post a selfie of me smiling and wearing Ashleigh's old cheerleader uniform. I could complain, but I wanted to see this game enough to do it. The only thing that's driving me crazy is Dave and I are watching in the room and he keeps looking over at me like I'm crazy.
