  I have a lot of information from the internship that I need to share with you soon.  It's finally over and I actually wound up with a few outfits that I got at work much to the girl's delight.  There was a fashion showcase thing, not a full fledged fashion show, but they always have the interns do some modeling and I will post when I get them from the internship. The work situation is a bit crazy.  At Mom's I made about $11.35 an hour plus tips thanks to a few raises.  That sounds like pretty good money, except I was able to keep the hourly pay to spend as I saw fit and the tips would be used for Kayla.  All those outfits and makeup cost money.  That was about $6000 that were available to spend on Kayla this past year. When I turn 21 in less than a month, I will be getting a new job.  I'll have more details about this, but Mercedes has pretty much put in a word for me and I will get the job.  My pay will drop to $8 an hour but my tips will ...

  This one is going to be embarrassing.  I'm not only waitressing, but I'm doing it at Mom's, which means I'm at Mia's favorite place and I guarantee she'll come in a lot when I'm working and she will always sit in my section.  Very few places make their waitresses wear uniforms anymore and I know it could be worse.  One of you suggested I get a job at Hooters, but it still means wearing a short dress everyday and the girls aren't letting me wear the most comfortable shoes either. This means I can stay down at school for summer because I can support myself, but this is just so embarrassing.  I've never been a server before and I'm still learning how to do the job.

  So, we did Rocky Horror and I was Dr. Frank N Furter.  I definitely didn't look like I do as Kayla thanks to dark makeup and a wig, but it was a little weird because I was out in women's clothing, but I was out as Kevin not as Kayla. I had to remind myself that if anybody I knew saw me, I was Kevin.  Mia actually borrowed one of my maid outfits for her costume. I guess things have come full circle. She made me get the maid outfit to clean her room and here she was having to borrow it herself even if there was no way in Hell she was cleaning anything herself.  I have a job now and it's the one I wanted the least. Today was training and I'll start for real tomorrow.  The thing that sucks is that I've been hired as Kayla rather than Kevin.  I'm working under the table and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't care anyway.
