My Nemesis

 


This is Professor Sheila. I won't give her last name because I don't want her finding this blog, but I think she's my newest nemesis.  I've recently heard her referred to as a ball buster and heard a student tell me that her class is where GPAs go to die. She's actually a DuPont alum and a former Kappa, but wow is she tough.

I made the mistake of thinking England and Britain were synonyms and in her British Lit class, that's not good. It's not really fault. Nobody told me that England was just a part of Britain and college is supposed to be where you learn things.  Anyway, she didn't let it pass and instead chose to mock me for my screw up.

It's probably not a good idea to get on the professor's shit list on the first day of class, but I'm assuming she has a very big list.  It sure seems that way. Looking at the syllabus, this is way too much work for just an English class.

  My parents were fine with me staying at college for summer again, but my mom insisted that I come home for a weekend and I agreed.  Now, I love my parents and it was so good to see them.  I certainly don't want them coming down here to visit me and I want them to know that I still want them to be an important part of my life.  Unfortunately, going home meant seeing my sisters Kim and Holly.  Now don't get me wrong, I love my sisters and I always have, but we are close in age and that means competition.  Also, being outnumbered I would often make comments about women just to get a rise out of them.  They are really enjoying having me under Mia and her friends' thumbs at college and I am coming back with a whole bunch of hand-me-downs as well as a few summer dresses we bought on a shopping trip. Finals are Finally Done

  Wow, it's been a crazy month between work, Jacob, and school.  However, I finished my last final at 3pm today so we went out for Chinese tonight and to celebrate.  I hate updating this blog on my phone and it's harder still with everybody snooping, but things went well today.  I had two different finals and I aced them both I think.  After we finish eating, we are going to go back to the apartment building and then probably going to a party or clubbing.  I'm voting for drinking back at the apartment.  My last choice is clubbing so that's probably where we'll end up.

Bears 30, Raiders 12

  It's been so humiliating this year having to dress like a Raiders cheerleader for Bears games this year, so excuse me for celebrating a little bit that the Bears laid an ass-whupping on Mia's Raiders. If the Bears had lost, I would have had to wear one of the most humiliating Halloween costumes that I can think of.  I'd like to tell Mia good game, but I can't.  Her Raiders really do suck so instead, allow me to say "Ha! Ha!"
